FABA counts on volunteers for the substantial work they do at the annual conference, as this work is crucial in making the conference run smoothly. Daily Session monitors are being recruited to assist in managing the break-out sessions scheduled throughout the conference, and contingent on the number of shifts committed to and successfully completed, they may earn reduced or free registration. Note: Volunteers must be registered for the conference using the conference registration form. Completing the volunteer form does NOT automatically register you for the conference. Session Monitors report to the Volunteer Coordinator who will work with them to complete a projected work schedule and determine which tier of benefit the volunteer qualifies for by assisting at the annual event. Pre-conference training will also be required to orient to the Behavior Live monitoring system tablets, review the CEU process, and receive troubleshooting training. This training will be hosted online and on-site, in person, on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings during the annual conference. Volunteer performance is also evaluated by the FABA Board and association members. Session monitors arriving early may request to cover a workshop but this is not guaranteed. Please review the tier of benefits below. Shifts: Volunteers will be assigned to monitor a room for a specified block of time known as shifts (excluding pre-conference workshops). Volunteers will report to the Volunteer Coordinator in the FABA store each morning of the conference one hour prior to the start of the scheduled shift (I.e., by 7:00 AM for the morning shift). Shifts consist of the following:
