FABA counts on volunteers for the substantial work they do at the annual conference, as this work is crucial in making the conference run smoothly. Daily Session monitors are being recruited to assist in managing the break-out sessions scheduled throughout the conference, and contingent on the number of shifts committed to and successfully completed, they may earn reduced or free registration. Note: Volunteers must be registered for the conference using the conference registration form. Completing the volunteer form does NOT automatically register you for the conference. |
Dear FABA Members!
We are excited to open the 2023 Call for Papers for our 43rd Annual Conference. Don't forget to submit your recent research initiatives and presentations for consideration. Prospective presenters will submit their proposals through the Call for Papers abstract management portal hosted by BehaviorLive. This portal will be used to submit all proposal types including meetings and special events. Successful submission does not guarantee acceptance.
Please note the deadline for submissions is May 31, 2023 by 11:59 PM. Workshops will be reviewed as they are received so be sure to get your proposals in early. Upon the deadline, all reviews will continue and acceptance notifications will be sent until all spaces have been filled.
The annual nomination and election processes of FABA were overseen by the Elections Committee this year. Nominations for President Elect and two Member at Large positions were received from around the state and voting opened August 19th, ending on September 5th, 2022. The elections process is vital to our organization allowing the FABA Board to obtain new Board Members. These individuals are selected by you, our membership, and they play a vital role in fulfilling the purpose that was founded in 1980. The FABA Board meets multiple times through the year, and often Board Members meet monthly in smaller committees to complete the work of FABA, work that is so much more than an Annual Conference.
